ILOILO CITY — Police seized suspected shabu valued at P2.2 million from two drug pushers in a buy-bust operation here on Tuesday, Dec. 10.

The Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) identified the suspects as 40-year-old Toto Kapid and 20-year-old Alas.
Recovered from the suspects were 320 grams of shabu.
The operation was conducted by the ICPO Police Station 1 under Police Capt. Roque Gimeno III.
They were backed by the ICPO City Drug Enforcement Unit, ICPO Special Weapons and Tactics Team, the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit-6, and the Police Drug Enforcement Group Special Operations Unit-6.
ICPO chief Police Col. Kim Legada lauded operating units for their achievement.
“Your hard work, dedication, and commitment in our fight against illegal drugs are truly commendable. Let us continue to work together with the community to put an end to this menace,” said Legada on Wednesday, Dec. 11.
