Fisherman hacked to death by 3 farmers in Quezon

SAN FRANCISCO, Quezon - A 62-year-old fisherman was hacked to death by three farmers while watching a basketball game in Sitio Centro, Barangay Don Juan Vercelos, this town, on Tuesday evening, Dec. 10.

Police identified the victim as Eufemio Picoro Buquil, married.

Buquil was watching a basketball game when the suspects Angelo, Nono, and Jomar arrived and confronted him.

The suspects hacked the victim in the body with their bladed weapon multiple times at the height of their argument.

The victim was taken to the Rural Health Unit where he was declared dead.

The suspects fled and are now the subject of a manhunt.
