The 19-year-old Filipina tennis sensation finished the year ranked at No. 149 highlighted by her singles victory in the W100 Vitoria-Gasteiz International Tennis Federation (ITF) tournament in Spain last July -- her biggest singles crown yet.

She also won three ITF doubles titles: the W50 Pune with Darja Semenistaja, and the W75 Croissy-Beaubourg and W100 Vitoria-Gasteiz with Estelle Cascino.

Eala has also competed in four Grand Slams, almost making it into the main draw round in the Roland Garros, Wimbledon and the US Open.

She jumped six notches to achieve her current ranking, though she ranked as high as No. 143 in July this year.

Overall, Eala reflected what she deemed as a successful season while aiming for bigger things next year.

“There is still so much I want to achieve but I can’t help but be proud to see how far that little girl has come,” Eala wrote on social media.

“From traveling around the Philippines to traveling around the world, I’m so thankful for the journey, to be healthy, and to be surrounded by so much love and support. Here’s to an even better 2025 season,” she added.
