UTP junior netters reap titles in Penang tilt

Players from the United Tennis Philippines collected three singles and four doubles crowns in the recent 39th Penang International Juniors Tennis Championships in Malaysia.

Hannah Divinagracia and Ariel Cabaral clobbered their respective rivals to rule the centerpiece 18-under girls and boys titles, respectively, while Jana Diaz ruled the 16U side.

As if it was not enough, Divinagracia teamed up with Mica Emana for the 18U girls doubles crown, and Cabaral conspird with Gian Andre Dela Cruz to cop the 18U boys doubles title.

Also score twin victories was Jana Diaz, who joined forces with Khalilah Imalay to bag the 16U girls doubles title.

Ace Bandala and Brendan Morales, meanwhile, won, the 14U boys doubles crown. 

UTP, an organization dedicated to developing young tennis talent in the Philippines, continues to prove its commitment to fostering excellence on and off the court. The team's victories in Penang underscore the depth of talent in the country and the effectiveness of UTP’s programs.
