PRO-Cordillera mourns death of 3 rookie cops


BUGUIAS, Benguet – The Police Regional Office-Cordillera mourned the death of three rookie policemen who drowned on the Apayao River in Calanasan, Apayao while pursuing a suspect on Dec. 6.

Police Brig. Gen. David Peredo Jr., PRO-Cordillera director, and other regional police officers visited the remains of one of the fatalities – Police Patrolman John Lorenzo Togay-an Jr. – at his residence in Barangay Lengaoan here on Dec. 9.

Peredo provided financial assistance to the family of Togay-an.

The PRO-Cordillera chief said Togay-an's dedication to duty and commitment to public safety will always be remembered.
