The Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) Committee led the recognition of the employees for their long years of service to the city and local government.
The employees received a plaque of recognition, a personalized Fossil wristwatch, and gift certificates worth P2,000 to P7,000, depending on their years of service.
Mayor Vico Sotto congratulated, saying that the awardees are the inspiration of the current employees of the local government.
“Congratulations sa mahabang career in public service at hinding-hindi po makakalimutan ng lungsod ng Pasig, ng mga mamamayan ng Pasig ang lahat ng naiambag ninyo sa ating lokal na pamahalaan at siyudad (Congratulations on your long career in public service! The City of Pasig and its citizens will never forget the valuable contributions you have made to our local government and our city),” Sotto said.
“Kaya po natin kinikilala ang mga empleyedo natin na nagsilbi sa atin nang matagal na panahon dahil sila rin po ay nagsisilbing inspirasyon natin, na mga kawani sa kasalukuyan (We recognize our employees who have served for a long time because they also serve as an inspiration to us, those who are still serving today),” the mayor added.
The local government said that the honorees had rendered at least 15 continuous years of service and reached the mandatory retirement age of 65.
“Para sa mga kawani na nakatanggap ng parangal, lubos na nagpapasalamat ang Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Pasig sa inyong tapat at taos-pusong paglilingkod para sa mga Pasigueño! Mabuhay po kayo! (To the employees who received recognition, the Pasig City Government expresses its deepest gratitude for your loyal and heartfelt service to the Pasigueños! Long live!),” it said.
