BAGUIO CITY – Former Marine officer Ariel Querubin urged President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte to settle their differences and concentrate in performing their jobs.

"They should try to settle the difference. There are more important matters they can give their time and energy into," said Querubin, a senatorial candidate in the elections next year, on Thursday, Nov. 28.
Querubin, a former colonel, encouraged personalities behind the formation of the UniTeam that brought them to power in the 2022 elections to intervene for their reconciliation.
He said that Filipinos trusted them with votes with the belief and trust that they can perpetuate unity amid divisive politics.
"It is possible for them to reconcile and kiss and make up amid the turbulent situation because they both desire to serve well and make the country better," he added.
Querubin, a bemedaled soldier, believes that peace, order, and unity will bring progress similar to Mindanao.
He added that good governance is a guiding principle he has always believed in as a soldier and a person.
