ILOILO CITY – Suspected shabu valued at P3.4 million was seized and a drug pusher was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Molo District here on Wednesday night, Nov. 27.

The Iloilo City Police Office identified the suspect as alias Bulldog, a porter at the public market.
He was arrested after he sold sachets of shabu worth around P15,000 to a police poseur-buyer. Recovered from him were 500 grams of shabu.
The City Drug Enforcement Unit under Capt. Ryan Inot led the operation and was backed by the ICPO Police Station 4 and the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit (RDEU) of the Police Regional Office-6.
PRO-6 Director Police Brig. Gen. Jack Wanky and ICPO Director Police Col. Kim Legada cited operating units for their achievement.
“This successful operation was the product of the collaborative and collective effort of the police, the community, and the other law enforcement agencies. With this strong partnership, those who are still engaging in the illegal activity will be identified and lawful intervention will be undertaken,” said Wanky.
