Sexagenarian drowns in creek in Quezon

LOPEZ, Quezon â€“ A 69-year-old man slipped and drowned in a creek in Barangay Del Pilar here on Friday morning, Nov. 8.

Police identified the victim as Revilla E. Alba Jr.

Investigation said the victim was found by his brother Crisostomo lying in a prone position in a creek near their house.

Police believe Revilla, a stroke victim, slipped while walking on his way home.

No signs of foul play were observed by the police who have coordinated with the Lopez Municipal Health Office for post-mortem examination and conducting follow-up investigation.
