Marcos looks forward to 'stronger collaboration' after accepting credentials of 8 new non-resident envoys

President Marcos is looking forward to growing the cooperation between the Philippines and eight other countries as he received the credentials of their non-resident ambassadors at Malacañan Palace.

In a video reel posted on Marcos’ Facebook page on Friday, Nov. 8, the President was shown accepting the credentials from the ambassadors. He was alongside Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Secretary Enrique Manalo.

“As I received the credentials of non-resident ambassadors from Kenya, Cyprus, Guinea, Micronesia, Slovakia, Uruguay, Equatorial Guinea and Nicaragua, we spoke about our shared commitment to enhancing our partnerships in areas like trade, renewable energy, and people-to-people ties,” the Chief Executive said in the post.

Marcos welcomed the foreign envoys last Thursday, Nov. 7, as he expressed hope to see the countries’ bond grow stronger in the future.

“There is great potential for cooperation that will bring meaningful benefits to both our countries, and I look forward to seeing our collaboration grow stronger in the years to come,” Marcos added.

Among those who presented their credentials were Ambassadors Galma Mukhe Boru of Kenya, Nicholas Panayiotou of Cyprus, Moussa Fanta Camara of Guinea, and John Fritz of Micronesia.

Ambassadors Tomas Ferko of Slovakia, Cristina Gonzales of Uruguay, Mauricio Mauro Epkua Obama Bindang of Equatorial Guinea, and Mario Jose Armengol Campos of Nicaragua also had their credentials received by the President.
