Manila offers huge discounts for early taxpayers

Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan encouraged the property owners to take advantage of the discounts for real property tax payment in 2025.

According to the mayor, the schedule of advance tax payment for property owners in Manila is until December 10, 2024.

Taxpayers who will pay on or before the said date will be granted a 20 percent discount, while payments made from December 11 to 29 will qualify the payor a 15 percent discount.

The mayor said that prompt payments from January 1 to 31, 2025 will grant taxpayers a 10 percent discount.

"Be reminded though, that only accounts without delinquencies will qualify of the said discounts," she added.

For updated accounts, she noted that payment may only be made online through Go Manila app or www.gomanila.com, while those with delinquent accounts may pay via over-the-counter transactions at E-BOSS center located inside the Manila City Hall.
