Butuan City's No. 1 most wanted nabbed

BUTUAN CITY – Police arrested the No. 1 most wanted person here on Thursday, Nov. 7.

Butuan City Police Office (BCPO) Director Police Col. Rommel D. Villamor, in a report to Police Regional Office-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Alan M. Nazarro, said the 27-year-old suspect Jim was arrested on a warrant for statutory rape with no bail recommended.

Jim was nabbed by the City Intelligence Unit in Barangay J.P. Rizal here.

“The suspect did not resist arrest,” Villamor said.

Villamor said the campaign against wanted persons continues.

“Your BCPO is trying its best to arrest wanted personalities to ensure peace and order in our city.”

"We will continue to work together for a safe and sound Butuan City," Villamor said.

The suspect was taken to the City Intelligence Unit for proper disposition.
