The Red Warriors (6-5) try to secure a semis berth which they earned the last time in 2009 when they meet the Growling Tigers (5-7) in their 6:30 p.m. showdown.

For the curtain raiser, the FEU Tamaraws (4-8) and the Ateneo Blue Eagles (3-8) hope to pump some life to their respective campaigns in the 3:30 p.m. encounter.

UE lost its rhythm in its past two games after being dealt with a 45-37 and 59-51 defeats to Adamson (4-7) and FEU, respectively.

The Red Warriors will try to tame the Tigers who gave them a 70-55 beatdown last Sept. 8 in their season opener.

"We're just focusing on our goal, 'yon nga makabalik kami sa Final Four and I hope this time maka-recover kami," said UE head coach Jack Santiago.

Leading the charge for the Recto-based squad are Precious Momowei, John Abate, Wello Lingolingo, Ethan Galang and Rainer Maga.

With its rough second-round campaign, UST is also hoping to get a boost with Nic Cabanero, Forthsky Padrigao, Mo Tounkara, Cristian Manaytay, and Kyle Paranada bannering the team.
