Islay Erika Bomogao earned herself an impressive unanimous decision win over Japan's Fuu on her 24th birthday in their Muay Thai catchweight bout in Friday Fights 86, Nov. 9, at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

With her charm blending well with her killer instinct, Bomogao dominated her much younger rival in their three-round showdown.

“Happy birthday to me! Y'all already know what I wished for. But seriously, being given the chance to perform tonight on the ONE Championship Lumpinee stage is already an awesome gift for me,” Bomogao wrote on her social media post prior to her fight.

“This is the best birthday ever, I just prayed for a nice performance and I’m really sure that I got it and I did it,” she said in an interview after the match.

Bomogao immediately took care of business, landing heavy kicks and punches that shook the defense of Fuu in the opening round.

The Filipina fighter carried the momentum until the last seconds to earn the nod of judges.
