Rape suspect nabbed in Batangas City


CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna – Police arrested a rape suspect in Barangay Santa Clara, Batangas City on Thursday morning, Nov. 7.

The Police Regional Office 4-A identified the suspect as Pepito, 32.

Pepito was apprehended on warrants of arrest for 12 counts of rape of a minor dated Oct. 18, 2024 issued by Judge Alvin Bugayong Tanguanco, presiding judge of the Family Court, Regional Trial Court Branch 8, Calamba City, Laguna.

PRO 4-A Director Police Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas commended the arrest of the suspect.

The suspect, the fourth most wanted person in the Calabarzon region, is in the custody of the Santo Tomas City police.
