The Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) reported that the first suspect, identified as alias Chris, 21, was arrested during an operation in Sitio Oreta, Barangay San Isidro, Antipolo City.

Chris was apprehended after a witness identified him and CCTV footage captured him stealing a motorcycle.

According to the victim, he parked his motorcycle outside their house and forgot to take the key. Around 11:30 a.m., his father discovered that the motorcycle was missing from its parking spot.

With help from the witness, the victim identified the suspect and reported the incident to authorities, who promptly conducted an operation that led to the suspect's arrest and the recovery of the stolen motorcycle.

Meanwhile, the second suspect, identified as Kevin, 32, was arrested by the Rodriguez Municipal Police Station (MPS) during a follow-up operation in Barangay San Jose, Rodriguez, Rizal.

Authorities reported that the second victim had also parked his motorcycle outside their house and forgot to remove the key from the ignition, which gave the suspect an opportunity to steal the vehicle.

The victim immediately reported the incident to the authorities, resulting in the suspect's arrest.

Both suspects are currently detained in their respective custodial facilities and will be charged for Republic Act 10883 or the Anti-Carnapping Act.
