Many other countries were also hit by the storm but they still chose to send help),” he said in a speech in Pili, Camarines Sur on Wednesday, Nov. 6.

They sent airplanes and other materials. Even the private sector were ready to help expand the government projects)," he added.

President Marcos also thanked those who dedicated their time and resources to help typhoon victims. He expressed his gratitude for the unwavering support from the private sector to help storm-hit Filipinos.

To those who offered their time, abilities, and heart in helping our fellowmen, please accept my gratitude)," he said.

Salamat sa inyong suporta (Not just to our fellow government workers but also to the private sector who tirelessly join us in ensuring the welfare of every Filipino. Thank you for your help and your support)," he added.

The President called on everyone to reunite in building a more prepared, prosperous, and progressive "Bagong Pilipinas."
