South Korea-based Filipino global group HORI7ON made their triumphant return to Manila and held their second concert that showcased two new songs.
HORI7ON’s Vinci, Kim, Kyler, Reyster, Winston, Jeromy, and Marcus reunited with their fans at their "Daytour: Anchor High” concert on Nov. 3 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The concert was held more than a year since HORI7ON had their first concert in the country, “Friend-SHIP [Voyage To Manila],” in September last year.
HORI7ON debuted in South Korea under MLD Entertainment in July last year with the album “Friend-Ship.”
Opening with “Sumayaw Sumunod,” a remake of the 1978 Boyfriends song which was released in August, HORI7ON performed more than 20 songs including solo performances.

Marcus said, “This is just a great start to the concert because the energy is so great.”
After “Lovey Dovey,” ‘HORI7ON performed their version of “How You Feel.” Last year, the song was performed by Jeromy and Marcus together with K-pop girl group Lapilllus member Haeun.
During the concert, HORI7ON introduced two new unreleased songs: “Cold” and “2 Cool 2 Care.”
Last month, their agency announced that HORI7ON would be making their comeback with a new song, described as a track with hip-hop beat and powerful rap lines.
For the solo spots, HORI7ON members performed a variety of songs.
Kim covered “YK” by Cean Jr. while Kyler sang “I Think They Call This Love” by Elliot James Reay.

Letters to fans
During the concert, HORI7ON members read their handwritten letters addressed to their fans, the Anchors, to express their gratitude for the support and love they have received from them..
“These are handwritten letters from all of us to you guys,” said Marcus.
“It’s something we want to say to our Anchors who have always supported us from day one, from ‘Dream Maker’ to promoting to Korea, to being the first all-Filipino boy group to ever promote in South Korea. It means a lot that our supporters never get tired of us. As a simple thank you to you, we prepared some letters that we want to read to you guys,” said Vinci.
In his letter, Vinci said, “First of all I want to thank everyone of you who enrolled at ‘Daytour: Anchor High.’ It feels good to see our beloved classmates making memories alongside us seven. We hope you all will remember this day just like we will forever too. Let's keep sailing on and keep creating everlasting waves side by side like in that famous movie once said, ‘We're all in this together.’”
Jeromy said, “Today we made another history with you, Anchors. This day will never be forgotten and will always be in my heart. I never thought that we will be able to perform here in MOA [Mall of Asia Arena]. To me a year ago will probably be in disbelief to have such a big opportunity. Thank you so much Anchors and to our family we won’t be here today performing our hearts out and enjoying the whole concert without you. We promise that we will continue to give our best for you. Please always remember that HORI7ON could never sail without Anchors.”
Marcus teared up as he was reading his letter.
“As I reflect on what's occurring right now, seeing all of you in front of us, you know, being able to stand on the stage of MOA Arena, having held a concert once more and seizing the opportunity to showcase my hard work and talent to all of you, and being here in general will always be unreal to me. Words could never express how grateful I am for all of this, and for you, Anchors, especially. We've been sailing for quite some time now and we've achieved many things along the way, but our sail won’t end here. I can write many more words as an attempt to express myself right now but those words won't be enough. But here's my everlasting promise, I'll always be better than yesterday and I'll always love all of you. May this be an addition to many of our cherishing memories,” said Marcus.
Kyler said, “Thank you for all the days you made us feel that you love us. I appreciate you all for supporting us and those who attend at Daytour Anchor High. I am out of the words to tell how grateful I am to have y'all. Let's make more memories together, Anchors.”
“I know that sometimes there are situations that is not easy to handle and our relationship had been experienced ups and downs. What I mean is, I want to tell you that you're very strong, you're trying not to give up. I'm so happy that you're still here supporting the group like before. I will never forget this kind of support you gave through my entire life. I'm very glad that our Anchors came to see us in our 2nd concert tonight. Thank you so much. Mahal ko kayo (I love you). Enjoy,” said Reyster.
Winston said, “Thank you for allowing yourself to be our classmates and enrolling here at ‘Daytour: Anchor High. It's amazing when you have someone you can think of, when you want to do something and I'm glad that we did it with our Anchors, like FSE, Concert etc. So now come on, let's do a Daytour together and roam around the world until there’s nowhere to go. Maraming salamat sa walang sawang suporta at pagmamahal na lagi niyong ibinibigay sa ‘min. Mahal na mahal namin kayo, our Anchors.”
“Masaya ako habang sinusulat mga mensahe galing sa puso ko. Hindi lang kayo mga supporters, pamilya ang turing ko sa inyo. Hug ko kayo (I was happy while writing the messages that came from my heart. You are not only supporters but I consider you as family),” said Kim.
HORI7ON bid farewell to fans as the concert came to a close.
“Sadly Daytour Anchor High is officially dismissed,” said Vinci.
Marcus said, “Thank you guys so much for coming.”
The HORI7ON "Daytour: Anchor High” concert was presented by DNM Entertainment and MLD Entertainment.
