The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) has recognized SM Investments Corporation and BDO Unibank Inc. as among this year’s “Country Movers,” to highlight their significant contributions to national development.
Presented during the 50th Philippine Business Conference and Expo (PBC&E), the award acknowledges companies that undertake projects of national importance and play a vital role in job creation, poverty alleviation, and fostering sustainable and inclusive growth.
“This recognition inspires us to strive harder in serving our customers by providing them greater access to modern retail, integrated property developments and financial solutions” said SMIC President and CEO Frederic C. DyBuncio.
He added that, "We remain committed to growing our businesses with purpose, helping enable an ecosystem of responsible and inclusive businesses and communities."
SMIC was also awarded the Nation Builders Award during last year’s conference, further solidifying its commitment to national progress.
