Duterte's camp said in a statement on Monday evening, Nov. 4, that the test – Hair 7 Drug Panel Test – was conducted by the Omega Laboratories, a certified testing facility.

A hair sample was taken and screened for multiple drugs – amphetamine, methamphetamine, cocaine and metabolites, opiates, extended opiates, phencyclidine, THC metabolite or marijuana, and benzodiazepines.

Results showed that all tests were negative, indicating that none of these substances were detected in Duterte’s system.

The official document, dated Oct. 28, certified by Hi-Precision Diagnostics, attested the thorough screening process using advanced techniques such as ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) for initial testing and GC/MS (gas chromatography/mass spectrometry) or LC/MS/MS (liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry) for confirmation.

It said that this testing methodology is known for its high accuracy and is often used in legal, corporate, and personal cases where reliable results are required.

Duterte's camp said the drug test result is significant as it reinforces the lawmaker's claim of being drug-free amid rumors and accusations from political figures here.
