A 15-year-old girl and a 27-year-old man were arrested after they yielded P4 million worth of shabu during a buy-bust operation at a mall in Taguig on Nov. 5.
The two suspects, tagged by the police as high value individual pushers, were nabbed at about 12:40 a.m. at a parking lot of a mall.
Brig. Gen. Bernard Yang, Southern Police District director, identified the arrested man as alias Alvin, who was nabbed for alleged violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), and Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act).

The 15-year-old girl was arrested for alleged violation of Section 26 of RA 9165 or attempt or conspiracy, which includes the “sale, trading, administration, dispensation, delivery, distribution and transportation of any dangerous drug and/or controlled precursor and essential chemical.”
Seized from the suspects were 600 grams of suspected shabu valued at P4.08 million, buy-bust money and cell phone.
Authorities also seized a 9mm caliber pistol with live ammunition from Alvin.
The buy-bust operation was conducted by combined elements of the SPD’s Drug Enforcement Unit together with the District Intelligence Division, District Mobile Force Battalion, Taguig Police Substation 4 and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Southern District Office.
“What we have to stop is the network of the supply of illegal drugs in the community,” said Yang who commended the operating team.
