ZAMBOANGA CITY – The Zamboanga City police chief has appealed to residents of this city to provide any information regarding the kidnapping of American national Elliot Eastman.

In a press conference over the weekend, Zamboanga City Police Director Police Col. Kimberly Molitas said Eastman’s whereabouts have not been determined and any information that would enable police to track his location would be appreciated.
Molitas assured utmost confidentiality and advised residents here to approach the police for any information about Eastman or his abductors.
Zamboanga City is 86 kilometers away from Sibuco, a town in Zamboanga del Norte province where Eastman resides and abducted.
The Police Regional Office-9 vowed continuous pursuit operations following the identification of two more suspects in the kidnapping.
PRO-9 Director Police Brig. Gen. Bowenn Joey Masauding said that while there has been no proof of life on the abducted American so far, the Critical Incident Management Task Group (CIMTG) remains steadfast in its mission to pursue his kidnappers. Masauding is also the chief of the CIMTG.
