K-pop group The Boyz and Yeonjun, member of Tomorrow X Together, copped the first two places in the weekly album chart in South Korea.
Korea’s Hanteo Chart released the weekly album chart for the period Oct 28 to Nov. 3. The albums were ranked based on Hanteo’s proprietary physical record index (PRI), which incorporates album sales and album price.
The Boyz’s album “導火線 (도화선)” or “Trigger” grabbed the No. 1 spot on the weekly chart, selling 566,461 copies or an equivalent of 633,412 in PRI.
Yeonjun solo debut mixtape “Yeonjun’s Mixtape: GGUM” sold 112,426 copies for the week or a PRI or 219,231 to place second.
Grabbing the third to fifth spots are The Black Skirts’ “Teen Troubles,” BabyMonster’s “Drip” and Aespa’s “Whiplash.”
