The Southern Police District (SPD), under Brig. Gen. Bernard Yang, arrested 80 individuals in weeklong warrant operations in local government units under its jurisdiction.
The operation was conducted from Oct. 26 to Nov. 1, with notable arrests in Taguig, Muntinlupa, Parañaque, and Las Piñas.
Of the 80, 10 were the topmost wanted persons, 27 were most wanted persons, and 43 were other wanted persons.
In Taguig City, the police arrested an individual known as Gino on Oct. 30 in Upper Bicutan for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

Also arrested in Taguig was an individual known as Sonny Boy in Barangay Western Bicutan on Nov. 1 for violation of Republic Act 9165.
Meanwhile, the Muntinlupa Police served warrant of arrest against an individual known as Genaro on Oct. 28 at the Bureau of Corrections in the New Bilibid Prison Reservation in Barangay Poblacion, where he was wanted for 26 counts of rape under Criminal Case Nos. 14-720 to 745.
“The successful apprehensions made during this operation reflect the unwavering commitment and hard work of our officers to ensure the safety of our communities. Let this serve as a warning to criminals: we will not rest until you are brought to justice. The Southern Police District will continue to actively pursue and apprehend those who threaten the peace and security of our neighborhoods,” said Yang.
