This autumn, two high school sweethearts will reunite 18 years after their bitter breakup in “Love Your Enemy,” a new romantic comedy series coming to Disney+ this month.
“Love Your Enemy” stars actor Ju Ji-hoon (“Light Shop,” “Blood Free”) as Seok Jiwon, the president of Dokmok High School, and actress Jung Yu-mi (“Discovery of Love,” “Train to Busan”) as Yoon Jiwon, a P.E. teacher.
In the series, Seok Jiwon and Yoon Jiwon, who were born on the same day with the same name to rival families, fought against the odds and fell in love with each other during their last summer in high school.

A fiery romance from the start, a small misunderstanding led to the couple breaking up and their memories being tainted.
Eighteen years later, Jiwon and Jiwon once again find themselves working together and old hatred begins to resurface. Working to undermine each other at every turn, the pair slowly comes to realize that perhaps there’s more to their feelings than just anger and resentment.
“Love Your Enemy” is written by Lim Ye-jin (“The Tale of Nokdu”), directed by Park Joon-hwa (“What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim”) and produced by Studio Dragon, the leading storyteller group in Korea.
To date, Disney+ has released over 12 Korean titles this year, building on the positive momentum and success of its APAC content slate from 2023, including hits such as “Moving,” “Big Bet and “The Worst of Evil.”
