Pasay LGU cited by DOF-BLGF

The Pasay City government receive three awards from the Department of Finance-Bureau of Local Government Finance (DOF-BLGF) for its commitment and effectiveness in revenue generation and resource mobilization. 

City Treasurer Emil Tecson represented Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano in receiving the recognition during the awarding of the Top Performing National Capital Region local governments for the local government units held at Richmonde Hotel Eastwood last October 29.

Tecson said the DOF-BLGF awarded the city government with the following: Top 6 for Locally Sourced Revenue for the fiscal year 2022 and 2023 among all the cities in the country; Top 6 for Local Source Revenue to total current operating income for the fiscal year 2022 and Top 8 among all cities in the country; and Top 7 Year-on-Year Growth in Local Source Income for the fiscal year 2023 among all highly urbanized cities in the country.

Tecson explained that in fulfillment of its mandate to monitor local fiscal and financial performances, the DOF-BLGF takes the initiative to recognize top-performing provinces, cities, and municipalities for their efforts in economic development and sustainability.
