Low-cost carrier Cebu Air Inc., operator of Cebu Pacific, has put on sale as much as 750,000 seats across its domestic flights.
In a statement on Monday, Nov. 4, Cebu Pacific said travelers can book seats for as low as P99 for one way for travel period beginning Jan. 1 until March 31, 2025. The seat sale will end on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024.
Cebu Pacific’s seat sale followed the newly launched routes and recent aircraft deliveries from European aircraft manufacturer Airbus.
Last month, Cebu Pacific announced it was offering new routes from Iloilo as part of its commitment to enhance inter-island connectivity and make air travel more accessible.
Beginning Dec. 1, Cebu Pacific will fly daily between Iloilo and Tagbilaran, Bohol; as well as thrice weekly to and from Daraga, Albay; and Dumaguete in Negros Oriental.
With new routes, Cebu Air said it was expecting more travelers to visit top tourist destinations, including the Chocolate Hills, Cagsawa Ruins, Mayon Volcano, and Apo Island.
Once the flights are launched, Cebu Air will have served a total of 14 destinations from Iloilo, including two international routes, Hong Kong and Singapore.
At present, Cebu Pacific operates in 35 domestic and 26 international destinations spread across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
In light of the upcoming Christmas holiday and planned terminal reassignments of airlines flying from and to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), the company has advised travelers to prepare ahead to prevent any inconvenience.
Cebu Pacific reminded its customers that all its 5J flights depart and arrive at NAIA terminal 3, while DG flights operated by CebGo will remain flying in and out of NAIA terminal 4 until Nov. 6, 2024. Beginning Nov. 7, all DG flights will be transferred to NAIA terminal 2.
Air travelers were also advised to check their itineraries and boarding passes prior to proceeding to the airport.
Travelers may also check in online via the Cebu Pacific mobile application or via the Manage Booking section of its website. Both options are available from 48 hours up to one hour before scheduled time of departure for domestic flights, and up to four hours before scheduled departure for international fliers.
