SAM FERNANDO CITY, Pampanga -- Victory Liner introduced Wednesday the country's first fully electric bus at the bus company's Baler motor pool in Quezon City.
Marivic H. del Pilar, president and general manager of Victory Liner, said two units that can accomodate 65 passengers will be deployed to the Cubao (Quezon City)-San Fernando City, Pampanga route.

A road test was conducted following the launching.
Del Pilar said this milestone aligns with Victory Liner's vision of carbon-neutral transport.
She urged the govemment and private sector to embrace electric buses nationwide.
Del Pilar emphasized the company's commitment to reduce carbon emissions while providing reliable and modem transportation solutions.
Higer, a global electric vehicle, manufactured the electris bus.
Each unit has a 485 kWh battery that allows 350 to 400 kilometers of travel per charge, ideal for round trip routes.
Meanwhile, the Makakalikasan Organization and the Imelda S. Elizalde Foundation backed Victory Liner's united transformative effort.
