Stray Kids ‘dominATE’ PH


K-pop boy band Stray Kids met Filipino fans at their world tour held at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on Nov. 23. 

Stray Kids (스트레이 키즈), composed of Bang Chan, Felix, I.N, Seungmin, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin and Han, held their “dominATE” world tour in the Philippines. 

This was their comeback concert in Manila after their two-day “Maniac” world tour held in the country in March last year. 

Stray Kids performed more than 30 songs at the concert, opening with “Mountains” followed by “Thunderous,” “JJAM,” “District 9” and “Back Door.”

“Stay, mabuhay! I feel like it's been quite a while since we've met our Filipino Stays so we are really, really, you know, grateful and very very honored to be back here with you guys,” greeted Bang Chan. 

Felix said, “It's been so long like you said but I can't wait to see, you know, how everyone's feeling and this is just the beginning, right?”

“We have prepared so much for this world tour so we are really, really grateful that you guys are here,” added Bang Chan. 

Each member also had their solo spots: “Hold My Hand” by Han, “Youth” by Lee Know,”  “As We Are” by Seungmin, “So Good” by Hyunjin, “Railway”  by Bang Chan, “Hallucination” by I.N, “Unfair” by Felix and “Ultra” by Changbin.” 

They also performed “Chk Chk Boom,” “Topline,” “Super Bowl,” “Comflex,” “LALALALA,” “Twilight,” “Lonely St.,” “Social Path,” “Get Lit,” “Item,” “Domino,” “God's Menu,” “S-Class,” “Venom,” and “Maniac.” 

For the encore, Stray Kids sang “I Like It,” “Case 143,” “My Pace,” “Stray Kids,” “Miroh,” and “Megaverse.”

During the show, a fan video containing messages from Filipino fans were shown. 

Bang Chan said he was “genuinely very, very touched.” 

“We didn't expect you something like this you guys to prepare for us but yeah, there were a lot of beautiful words that you shared towards us. Good memory, good memory. I feel like you know the whole Stray Kids that you know we are sharing with Stay is a memory that we want to take forever. One of the best memories that we will ever, ever have and if it wasn't for you guys then everything would have been a nightmare,” he said. 

He added, “So thank you guys for existing and like you guys said, as if you guys are going to eternally stay, we are also going to eternally love you guys back. That is I promise that not only me but all of the kids want to say just stay so thank you very, very much.” 

Hyunjin said, “You know when we come back here in the Philippines, you'll be back also, right? Promise.” 

 

Bang Chan added, “Just give us a call. I swear we will be back, you know. The Philippines is an amazing country. We love being here. The energy you guys give to us is amazing.”

JYP Entertainment, Stray Kids’ agency, revealed a plan that will include large stadium concert venues around the world, in addition to the Singapore National Stadium, Melbourne Marvel Stadium, Sydney Allianz Stadium, Kaohsiung National Stadium, and Bangkok National Stadium that were included in the first announcement of Stray Kids' world tour venues, Korean media reported.

Based on the plan, Stray Kids will enter a total of 20 large stadium performance venues located in Latin America, North America, and Europe, as well as famous stadiums such as Mexico City's Estadio GNP Seguros, Los Angeles' SoFi Stadium, New York Citi Field, Toronto Rogers Stadium, London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and Paris' Stade de France.

Stray Kids will be the first K-pop artist to perform at London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. 

From the Philippines, Stray Kids will have their concert tour in Macau on Nov. 29-30, Osaka on Dec. 5 and 7-8, Bangkok on Dec. 14, Jakarta on Dec. 21, and Hong Kong on Jan. 18-19, before continuing to 20 additional destinations in Latin America, North America, and Europe to be announced from March to July.
