CAMP Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – The Police Regional Office-3 seized illegal drugs worth more than P74 million in Central Luzon from Oct. 1 to Nov. 25.
Police Brig. Gen. Redrico A. Maranan, PRO-3 chief, said 1,365 suspected drug pushers were apprehended in 910 anti-drug operations.
Recovered from the suspects were 4.9 kilos of shabu, 10.8 kilos of marijuana, and 26 kilos of kush.
Maranan also said that 89 firearms were seized and this reflects their efforts to combat not only drugs but also illegal firearms.
"This success is proof of the dedication of our police force in promoting peace and order in the region. We intensify the campaign against drugs, in accordance with the directive of our chief PNP, Police Gen. Rommel Francisco D. Marbil, and we ensure that every operation is carried out in accordance with law and with respect for human rights."
