Chito Miranda: Never nanloko si Neri

Chito Miranda, Parokya ni Edgar singer, took to social media to address talk about his wife allegedly having been arrested for estafa.

Prior, the Southern Police District (SPD) said they arrested Saturday a 41-year-old actress and businesswoman, alias "Erin," at a mall in Pasay City.

The SPD said the person was listed as the 7th most wanted person at the station level.

Meanwhile, J/Supt. Jundelina Jagunap of the Pasay City Jail Female Dormitory confirmed to ABS-CBN News the arrest of a certain Merriza Miranda.

The confirmation came days after Ogie Diaz reported Neri's supposed arrest in his vlog.

In his post, Chito defended his wife, maintaining, "Never nanloko si Neri, at never s'ya nanlamang sa kapwa..."

"Never siyang kumuha or nanghingi ng pera kahit kanino man. Alam ng lahat 'yan. Tulong lang s'ya (nang) tulong hangga't kaya n'ya," he added.

"Minsan kahit 'di na nakakabuti sa kanya. Kadalasan nga, naaabuso na s'ya pero hinahayaan n'ya na lang, basta wala s'yang ginawang masama," Chito went on.

"Pinapa sa Diyos n'ya na lang. Tulad ngayon, endorser lang s'ya tapos ginamit 'yung face n'ya to get investors. Kinasuhan s'ya ng mga nabiktima."

In ending his post, he added, "Sobrang bait po ni Neri ... as in sooobra. Eto 'yung babaeng kinulong ninyo without bail, habang nakalaya pa yung mga tunay na may kasalanan."
