'Squid Game' actress Jung Ho-yeon, 'Reply 1988' star Lee Dong-hwi break up after 9 years

Actress Jung Ho-yeon, who appeared in “Squid Game,” and actor Lee Dong-hwi of the hit drama “Reply 1988,” have broken up after nine years of dating.

"It is true that the two have broken up. They decided to remain good colleagues," announced Company On, Lee Dong-hwi’s agency, on Nov. 26.

The two stars have been dating since admitting their relationship in 2016. At the time, Lee Dong-hwi’s popularity soared due to “Reply 1988” while Jung Ho-yeon was a top model.

When they were still in a relationship, the two showed affection for each other at official events.

Lee Dong-hwi, 39, received much love from viewers for his role in “Reply 1988.” He starred in dramas such as "Chief Detective 1958" and "Big Bet," and films such as "The Roundup: Punishment" and "Dr. Cheon and Lost Talisman."

Jung Ho-yeon, 30, rose to global popularity when she appeared in “Squid Game” in 2021.
