EIGHT-hundred forty-two loose firearms were seized in Central Luzon by the Police Regional Office-3.

Two-hundred thirty-nine people were arrested for violating Republic Act (RA) 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms Regulations Act.

PRO-3 Director Police Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan appealed to gun owners to cooperate in the program.

(Illegal firearms are a threat to public safety as these are used by criminals in their illegal activities. We urged the public to report these to the police. We also urge gun owners to renew their licenses and those who surrender their firearms will be given acknowledgement receipts for safekeeping)
