Pateros cops arrest 3 men in shabu buy-bust

The Pateros Police Drug Enforcement Unit arrested three men in a buy-bust operation in Pateros on Nov. 23.

The suspects were identified as alias Mackoy, 27; alias Jimboy, 19; and alias Lord, 18.

During the operation, a police officer was able to purchase a plastic sachet containing suspected shabu from the suspects.

The total confiscated illegal drugs weighed 10 grams with an estimated street value of P68,000. The police also seized a P500 bill used as buy-bust money, seven plastic sachets containing suspected shabu.

The arrested suspects, along with the confiscated evidence, were taken to the Pateros Police station for documentation.

Three three men will face a complaint for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) that will be filed by the police before the Provincial Prosecutor's Office of Rizal.
