Police Brig. Gen. David Peredo Jr., Police Regional Office-Cordillera chief, said the Benguet Provincial Police Office discovered six plantations in Barangays Badeo, Kibungan, and Barangay Kayapa, Bakun.
Peredo said 19,080 fully grown marijuana plants and 80,000 grams of dried marijuana plants valued at P13.4 million were uprooted and burned in the area.
In Kalinga, 5,000 fully grown marijuana plants worth P1 million were discovered and destroyed n Barangay Loccong, Tinglayan.
Police are conducting an investigation find out their cultivators and other marijuana plantations in the area.
