The mayor's message emphasized the importance of safeguarding children from all forms of violence and abuse and highlighting the city's commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment for its youth.

The mayor stated the city's ongoing initiatives for child protection, such as strengthening law enforcement, providing support services for victims, and raising awareness about child rights.

According to her, more than 8,000 children aged two to four from 109 child development centers were provided with childhood materials such as books, uniforms, hygiene kits, and others, including children at the elementary school.

She said the city government also conducted HIV awareness and various activities for the welfare of the city youths.

"Our children are our future, and we must do everything in our power to protect them," she said.

"This is not just a responsibility but a shared commitment that we must all embrace. Together, we can break the cycle of violence and create a brighter future for every child in Pasay City," she added.

The SOCCA served as a platform for Rubiano to share her vision for a safer and more inclusive Pasay City, where every child can thrive and reach their full potential and well-being as the face of maturity, perseverance, dedication, and a brighter home for every Pasayeño.
