P195,000 shabu seized in Pasay police op

A man listed in the police drug watch list as a street level individual (SLI) was arrested by combined teams of the Pasay City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU), Pasay Police Substation 9, and the Southern Police District (SPD) - District Intelligence Division (DID) on Saturday Nov. 23.

Southern Police District (SPD) director BGen. Bernard Yang identified the suspect as “Bong,” 53.

He was arrested for violation of Section 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Yang said the warrant was issued by Judge Edilwasif Baddiri of the Pasay City Regional Trial Court Branch 115.

Police recovered P195,160 worth of shabu from Bong.

The suspect was detained at the Pasay City Police DEU office and was charged with possession of illegal drugs .
