Motorists advised of heavy traffic in QC due to ‘Eco-Run’ on Nov. 24


The Quezon City Government will hold the “QC Eco-Run” on Sunday, Nov. 24, from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m., as part of its advocacy promoting environmental conservation.

The event will start and finish at Liwasang Aurora, Quezon Memorial Circle (QMC), with participants traversing Elliptical Road and a portion of Quezon Avenue.

Motorists were advised of the anticipated heavy traffic along the following roads:

-Elliptical Road
-Quezon Avenue
-Commonwealth Avenue
-Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago Avenue
-North Avenue
-West Avenue
-Timog Avenue

Alternative routes have been provided for affected public utility vehicles (PUVs) and other motorists.

Personnel from the TTMD, Department of Public Order and Safety (DPOS), Task Force Disiplina, and Quezon City Police District (QCPD) will be on standby to ensure a smooth traffic flow in the area.
