SAN JUAN, Batangas – A missing farmer was found dead in Sitio Hulo 2, Barangay Laiya Aplaya, this town, on Friday afternoon, Nov. 22.
Police identified the victim as Bryan, 41, married.
Investigation said Bryan’s relative Henry was looking for him in a farm owned by Pedrito when he noticed foul odor in a small hole.
Henry sought the assistance of barangay and the police who retrieved the victim’s remains.
The victim’s brother positively identified him through a tattoo and his clothes.
Police have requested for an autopsy on the victim to determine the cause of death.
Meanwhile, a man wanted for being shirtless was arrested while applying for a police clearance in Barangay Poblacion 2, Nasugbu, Batangas on Friday afternoon.
Investigation said the suspect – Denefer – was apprehended after the verification process found out he has a pending case and warrant of arrest for violation of city ordinance No. 3395, Series of 2005 – prohibiting half-naked or shirtless people on the streets.
The warrant dated Feb. 4, 2016 was issued by Judge Remiebel U. Mondia, presiding judge of the Pasay City Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 45. A P1,000 bail was recommended for his temporary liberty.
