The Soaring Falcons try to extend their campaign and schedule a playoff duel against UE when they face the Blue Eagles at 5:30 p.m.

A win for the Falcons (5-8) would arrange them a playoff against the UE Red Warriors for the last spot in the knockout round and the right to challenge reigning champion Green Archers.

If things don't go its way, Adamson will join Ateneo, FEU and NU to the exit door.

The Nash Racela-mentored squad had failed in its first encounter against  Ateneo, 60-51, last Sept. 21, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Adamson, which is coming from a 75-49 loss to the UST Growling Tigers in its previous outing, has Mat Montebon, Royce Mantua and Emman Anabo to man the offense along with Joshua Yerro, Mudiaga Ojarikre and Cedrick Manzano.

On other hand, out to deliver the goods for the Eagles are Andrew Bongo, Shawn Tuano, Chris Koon, Jared Bahay and Joshua Lazaro.

The Ateneo gunners provided double-digit numbers in their 71-67 victory over the Warriors.
