2 men nabbed for robbing gas station in Naic, Cavite

CAVITE – Authorities collared two men who allegedly robbed a gasoline station in Naic early morning on Friday, Nov. 22.

Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO) identified the arrested suspects as alias Emil, 20, and alias Michael, 18.

An initial investigation by the Naic Municipal Police Station (MPS) revealed that the two suspects, along with two other accomplices, arrived at the gas station onboard two motorcycles.

The four suspects reportedly held a pump attendant at gunpoint, took P8,000 cash and a cell phone before fleeing toward the town proper.

Upon receiving the report about the incident, NAIC MPS, led by Lt. Col. Ericson B. Nato, conducted follow-up and dragnet operations that led to the arrest of Emil and Michael.

Confiscated from their possession were an improvised handgun, the victim’s cell phone, and the motorcycle they used as a getaway vehicle.

The two other suspects, meanwhile, managed to escape with the stolen money on board a motorcycle without a license plate.

Alias Emil and alias Michael are now in the custody of Naic MPS while a manhunt operation is still ongoing for the suspects at large.
