The Parañaque City government has received a high functional rating from the Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) audit team for achieving 97 percent overall score for this year's audit.
Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez said the audit team were composed of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency - National Capital Region (PDEA-NCR), Sanlakbay, and the Department of the Interior and Local Government National Capital Region (DILG-NCR).
The team recognized the city's implementation of programs and policies against illegal drugs including addressing the needs of persons who used drugs (PWUDs) for their rehabilitation.
The mayor thanked the ADAC regional audit team for the recognition signifying the city government's commitment in making Parañaque drug cleared and drug-free.
