First Lady Louise Araneta Marcos has launched the "Lab For All: Laboratoryo, Konsulta at Gamot Para sa Lahat" initiative at the Pasay City Astrodome on Friday, November 21.

The project is set to provide free medical services to thousands of residents in Pasay, ensuring that every citizen has equitable access to quality healthcare as mandated by Republic Act No. 11223 or the Universal Health Care Act.

This initiative is a collaboration among the Office of the President, the First Lady, the Pasay City local government, and other government agencies including the Department of Health (DOH), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), and the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth).

The Lab For All caravan delivers a comprehensive range of free medical services which include:

Laboratory Tests - Blood tests, urine tests, and essential laboratory procedures;

Consultations - Free consultations with leading physicians across various specialties including pediatrics, obstetrics, gynecology, and general medicine;

Medicines - Free distribution of essential medications to those who require them.

Dental Services - Basic dental checkups and treatments without any cost.

Minor Surgeries - Complimentary minor surgical procedures for eligible patients.

"I am extending my deepest gratitude to President Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos Jr. and First Lady Marcos for bringing the Lab For All project to our community. This initiative will drastically improve access to healthcare for our residents, especially the most vulnerable. These initiatives will build a healthier and more vibrant Pasay," Rubiano said.

As a staunch advocate for healthcare rights, the First Lady is dedicated to advancing the healthcare system in the country, fortifying public health and safety for the benefit of every Filipino.

The project aims to provide free medical services to communities throughout the Philippines and it has already achieved triumphant implementation in various provinces, including Batangas, Zambales, and Bulacan, with thousands of Filipinos benefitting from it.
