Honda holds Round 6 of Pilipinas Dream Cup (HPDC)

Inspiring young riders to race

The Honda Pilipinas Dream Cup (HPDC) wrapped up Round 6 of the series at the Tarlac Circuit Hill, bringing young Filipino riders closer to their dreams of racing in international competition. With each round, the HPDC has emphasized discipline, perseverance, and dedication, empowering young riders to embrace the training required to build a professional career in motorcycle racing. 

In this latest race, the riders demonstrated their ongoing development in skill, speed, and control, thanks to both rigorous training and their increasing familiarity with the technical Tarlac Circuit Hill racetrack. The riders’ remarkable growth, early challenges that become each of their milestones of improvement mastering complex sections of the track. 

The weekend saw riders pushing to their limits, starting off from the qualifying round with Yuri Olayvar getting pole position. The intense competitiveness of #3 Carlsen Solis, saw him earn second place, while #1 John Nathan Galang, showed the desire to win and take the overall rider standing from Kenzo Abadilla who was not able to race in Round 6. Both riders were aggressively fighting to win and getting into head-to-head encounters with each other, resulting in #3 Carlsen Solis sweeping wins in Race 1 and Race 2 respectively.

Honda’s focus on creating disciplined, internationally competitive athletes was evident in each competitor’s growth. As the overall champion emerged, we were reminded of their remarkable journey—a testament to their relentless pursuit of excellence in every round. This season, the HPDC overall champion’s struggles, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment became an inspiring story for every aspiring young rider in the Philippines.

As the season draws to a close, HPDC continues to offer an incredible path forward for young racers in the Philippines, creating an atmosphere that combines competitive drive with essential mentorship. This winning combination is setting up the next generation of Filipino racers to make waves on the international stage.
