Cayao said the fatalities and Orita’s children – Richelle, 29, and Richie, 27 – were having a drinking session and  playing loud music in their house when the 67-year-old suspect, a construction worker, asked them to lower the volume of their music.

The victims went to the suspect’s house and hit him with a stone in the head.

The suspect was irked and attacked the victims with a bolo.

Orita sustained two stab wounds in the chest and Pigollo had a stab wound in the abdomen. They were taken to a hospital where they were pronounced dead.

Richelle sustained three stab wounds in the abdomen and Richie had a stab wound in the leg. They were also taken to a hospital where they are recuperating.

The suspect was arrested and the murder weapon was recovered in a follow-up operation.

Homicide charges will be filed against the suspect who is under hospital arrest for injuries he sustained during the commotion.
