2 arrested for marijuana oil in Taguig

Two people were arrested by the police in a buy-bust operation that led to the seizure of marijuana oil in Taguig on Nov. 21.

The Taguig Police identified the suspects as alias Gerome, a 27-year-old motorcycle taxi rider, and alias Arby, a 24-year-old female, who were apprehended during the operation in Barangay Rizal, Taguig.

During the operation, the police confiscated 52 disposable vapes and 11 vape cartridges containing cannabis oil, weighing about 63 grams valued at P283,500.

The police also recovered the buy-bust money consisting of three genuine P100 bills and 24 pieces of P1,000 boodle money and two cell phones.

They will file a complaint against the two suspects for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
