President Marcos has declared Jan. 2, 2025 as a special non-working day in the municipality of Bonifacio in Misamis Occidental.
Through Proclamation No. 751, Marcos declared Jan. 2, Thursday, next year as a special holiday as the municipality of Bonifacio will mark the celebration of its founding anniversary.
"[I]t is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Bonifacio be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration," the President said in the proclamation issued by Malacañang on Wednesday night, Nov. 19.
The declaration extends the Christmas and New Year holidays in the municipality as Jan. 1, 2025 was also declared as a regular holiday.
Proclamation 751 was signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, by authority of the President, on Nov. 18.
