Las Piñas senior citizen leaders lauded for programs, initiatives for the elderly

Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar lauded the city's senior citizen association leaders for their active involvement in the community during the latter's visit at the city hall on Monday, Nov. 18.

Aguilar said the meeting aims to strengthen the city’s ongoing collaboration with the elderly sector and discuss programs beneficial to senior citizens.

The discussion also highlighted the local government’s commitment in improving its support services for the elderly such as healthcare initiatives, wellness programs, and community engagement activities.

For their part, the leaders commended the local government for its efforts in prioritizing the welfare of senior citizens and ensuring their voices are heard.
