BACOLOD CITY – The Commission on Elections (Comelec) recorded a total of 2,009,564 registered voters in Negros Occidental, including Bacolod City, for the May 2025 elections.
It said that 983,866 are male and 1,025,698 are female.

The lone district of Bacolod topped the list with 356,814 registered voters, followed by the third district covering the towns of E.B. Magalona and Murcia and the cities of Silay, Talisay, and Victorias, with 318,496 voters, the sixth district covering the municipalities of Candoni, Cauayan, Hinoba-an, and Ilog, and the cities of Kabankalan and Sipalay with 311,292;
The fifth district covering Binalbagan, Hinigaran, Isabela, La Castellana, and Moises Padilla municipalities, and Himamaylan City, has 302,714 voters, the first district covering the towns of Calatrava, Salvador Benedicto, and Toboso, and the cities of Escalante and San Carlos has 258,527 voters;
The fourth district covering the municipalities of Pontevedra, Pulupandan, San Enrique, and Valladolid, and the cities of Bago and La Carlota, has 248,782 voters, and the second district covering Manapla town, Cadiz City, and Sagay City, has 212,939 voters.
The seven legislative districts are composed of 19 municipalities and 13 cities, with 662 barangays, 13,004 established precincts, 2,484 clustered precincts, and 747 voting centers.
There are 139 voting centers in the fifth district, 138 in the first district, 125 in the sixth district, 112 in the third district, 96 in the fourth district, 89 in the second district, and 48 in this city.
Provincial Election Supervisor Ian Lee Ananoria said that there were voters who were delisted due to their failure to vote in two elections or have transferred their registrations outside the province.
