More than 21,200 visitors flocked at cemeteries in Quezon City on All Souls’ Day.
According to the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), the crowd estimates as of 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 2, are the following:
- Himlayang Pilipino Cemetery: 2,627
- Recuerdo Cemetery: 280
- Holy Cross Cemetery/Manila Memorial Park: 9,569
- Bagbag Public Cemetery: 7,264
- Novaliches Public Cemetery: 1,488
The QCPD reported a significant decrease in the number of visitors compared to the previous day's estimate of 114,892 on Friday, November 1.
Additionally, there were no confiscated prohibited items recorded in the cemeteries during the observance.
